The elite team has one regular season game left, the table going into the playoffs is still wide open. There is a tight battle at the top of the league between Engelholm, Linköping, Halmstad and Örebro. The remaining four spots of the playoffs are even more contested: Gislaved is 5th with 17 points, we are currently in 6th place with 15 points, and Lund and Sollentuna are 7th and 8th also with 15 points (but with worse set ratio).

The remaining games can make big differences in these standings. Most other teams still have two matches left to play, while we only have one: against Lund. That game will be decisive. If we win, and depending on other results (especially Lund’s match against RIG this weekend) we have a very realistic possibility of finishing 5th. For this team and for the club, reaching the playoffs as the 5th ranked team would be an amazing achievement. Considering how much we have grown and adjusted throughout the season, it would be also be well deserved. We lost the first meeting against Lund 1–3 very early in the season, and we did not perform well that day.

However, the team we are now is not the same team as back then. I am very confident in the development this group has shown over the past months and in the level we are currently playing at, particularly when it comes to consistency.

If we perform the way we know we can, our chances of winning against Lund are really very good.
