2025 - Elit Sammanfattning

After a very difficult 2024/25 season, our main goals were to rebuild our elite team, reset the team culture, raise the level, and re-define our as a club within the elitserien.

With 2 wins and 7 points so far, we're currently 8th in the standings, which is one position above the cut-off for playoffs. That might have felt ambitious six months ago, given how low we were starting from, so there is satisfaction in the progress made. At the same time, we feel bitter about how we started the season, because we know we underperformed at key moments. As a coach, I see a group with the potential to do more, and to do it more consistently, and in the last month and a half I have seen encouraging signs in this direction.

This fall has been marked by frequent setbacks, including some unfortunate injuries, illnesses, and uneven commitment levels. Some matches slipped away not because of lack of ability, but because we didn't show up with full presence and focus. On the other hand, there have been some impressive highlights:

* The victory over Gislaved was a turning point, not only because it was our first win, but also considering that we couldn't even compete with them during our preseason friendly match in September.

* The away win against Sollentuna, which was the first in our club's history, showed us what we are able to accomplish.

There's been strong individual growth across the roster, and when we've had full participation, training quality has been high. Our challenge now is to build consistency, as well as raising the standards for what's acceptable day to day, and what is not.

Looking ahead to the second half of the season, our goal is clear: we want to play with more stability and maximal effort in every training, and in every match. If we can do that, I definitely think that we have what it takes to finish the regular season in a strong position and enter the playoffs with confidence.
