Att titulera våra nya 8 Dan

Vi har 4 st nya 8 Dan = Boo Kwan Chang Nim.

under VM utdelades nya grader, bl.a. 4 st 8 dan vice Stormästare.  För att de ska tituleras korrekt har Master Fattori skickat nedan:

What a World Championship! It was great seeing many of you and catching up on activities within your regions. As you know, the WTSDA’s Board of Directors and Kwan Chang Nim Strong approved the promotion of four (4) new 8th Dan, Boo Kwan Chang Nim (Assistant Grand Master). This was a first for our great Association.

Well-deserved congratulatory comments continue to be posted to Face Book and other social media sites, as well as, in person laudatory statements. Since having four (4) Assistant Grand Masters is new to our members, please communicate to instructors and our membership that the proper Korean title for Assistant Grand Master according to our Manual is, “Boo Kwan Chang Nim”, as there has been some confusion and questions regarding how they should be addressed. (See Black Belt Manual, page 38, 2021 edition).

The title Boo Kwan Chang Nim signifies their status within the WTSDA and the proper respect must always be shown to their new position when addressing them in person and at regional events. As per the Manual, the English translation is Assistant Grandmaster.
