Nyförvärv: Casey Kuhrman!

SK Argo fortsätter att ligga lite efter när det gäller presentationer av nyförvärv men nu är det dags för en spelare som anlände till den här säsongen.

Argo har haft en del internationella inslag genom åren och i början av försäsongen dök 22-årige amerikanen Casey Kuhrman upp!

Parterna kom överens ganska snabbt och Casey tillhör numera Majornas skönaste gäng.

I amerikanen får Argo en hårt arbetande spelare som kan spela på flera olika positioner. Under försäsongen och början av säsongen har han spelat både som innermittfältare, ytter och längst fram. Känslan är att det även skulle gå att slänga in honom i backlinjen.

Han har även kommit in bra i laget utanför planen och ångrade inte sitt beslut att krita på även efter en sen kväll på Melody Club.

Självklart har den internationella delen av Argos mediaavdelning tagit ett snack med Casey!

What can you tell about yourself outside the field?

Apart from football I love to bake/cook, I have often considered working in a bakery, baking is a passion that I find very therapeutic. I am a masters student looking to continue my education and experience the lovely country of Sweden.

How did you find your way to the nicest club I Majorna, SK Argo?

I looked on the Swedish football website and selected a club at random to contact and got lucky with a great club.

What can you tell us about your soccer career before it took you to our home field Majvallen?

I played during my youth for clubs in the U.S., specifically in Illinois, Hawaii, and California, I started playing club football at age 5 and continued throughout my life.

What position on the field do you enjoy the most and what can the crowd expect to see from you?

⁠I enjoyed play in the midfield (specifically the 8 role) as I love to get on the ball and dictate the pace and flow of the game. The crowd can expect a hard worker who doesn’t shy away from the physical side of the game.

You have practiced and played with the club this pre-season and now the beginning of the season. What is your impression of the club and the team?

Team has a variety of characters that meshes well together and it’s very fun to get to know the guys on and off the pitch.

What is your best memory from playing soccer?

My best memories are probably playing with my dad and friends in my backyard growing up, we had a small artificial grass yard with a little goal and it was a blast playing 1v1, small games, and challenges.

What is your impression of Sweden as a country? Do you have any favorite things or things you don’t enjoy?

I have loved my time in Sweden, it’s a beautiful country with lots of great things to do. I’ve enjoyed exploring the green parts of Gothenburg, trying Scandinavian foods, and continuing my education here.
