Carlstad Pregame
We have a new week, new home field and new opponent. We have a chance to prove what we can do against last year´s champion, Carlstad Crusaders. It is going to be a bit of a strange environment, and bad weather. We are hoping to take advantage of the opportunity, and play our best game of the year. Nobody was pleased with the result of our game last weekend, and we are excited to put the game behind us.
Carlstad has always been a strong, physical team and they are the same this year. They have been very good at running the ball and stopping the run with their defense. We will try to get some big scoring plays on offense and disrupt their offense with some pressure.
Carlstad Postgame
It was a historic game for us yesterday, the first win ever versus Carlstad. This was just the thing we needed after last weekend's loss to Orebro. We enjoyed good field position and our offense played pretty efficiently.
Our Qb did a great job taking care of the ball and getting it into the hands of our other players. It was nice to see some different players make big contributions yesterday. Our running game looked better yesterday and so did our offensive line.
Our defense surprised with a fantastic effort. Gang tackles, hard hits and a lot of effort enabled us to do a nice job against their dangerous running attack and we allowed only a handful of completed passes.
