Stockholm Preview
We play our first "home game" in Arlanda Saturday versus Stockholm. They have had a patch of bad luck to start the season, injured import, no wins, and some scores that make you think they are not playing well. But, on film they are only a few plays here or there away from being very competitive.
They are playing very well on defense and offensively they have the ability to run the ball. We are going to have to prove that we are able stop people from running against us, and we need to continue to develop our own running game.
Stockholm Post Game
We beat Stockholm in another close game 28-26. Stockholm is probably the best winless team I’ve seen and they should get better as the season goes on. Their defense put constant pressure on our quarterback and played good coverage in the secondary. Our defense had problems with their passing game as well.
I believe we were in the lead the whole game, but Stockholm kept fighting back and it wasn’t decided until the final minute of the game. I was happy with our receiver group yesterday and we had good play from the Qb position once again. Our defense did a nice job stopping the run, but we had big problems with pass coverage and we need to be more consistent on that side of the ball.
