Arlanda Pre Game

We are finishing up the last three games of 2013 with a home game versus Arlanda. Our opponent this weekend has not won a game and we will be looking for our second victory over them this season.
We will play without our starting Qb and that will make us play a different style of football. We will count on some other players, playing different positions this weekend. It should be a fun day, a chance for our guys to show their ability and compete.
We were missing several players last weekend due to sickness, injury and vacation. It seems like this year has been tough on many of the teams, and it is not uncommon for players to miss one or several games for various reasons. For us to continue to get better, we need to get people healthy, and get them to practice and get them to games.
Arlanda has played hard despite their tough circumstances and we will need to concentrate and play hard for a chance to win. We look forward to another chance to play at home and the opportunity to prove ourselves worthy of victory Saturday.

Arlanda Post Game

After an ugly first half of football, we put together some nice plays and came away with a good 25-0 win versus Arlanda yesterday.
We knew things were not going to be easy offensively, missing our 1-2 punch at quarterback and receiver, all the pressure was put on Damien to make plays filling in at qb. Injuries have reduced our receiver group and we played with a group of fullbacks and tightends with the hopes of opening holes for our running game.
We had some problems throwing the ball and we also had several fumbles and interceptions that made for a stressful first half. Thankfully, our defense scored 2 safeties and put relentless pressure on their qb, ending the day with a shutout. It was an important win for us and it comes at a good time. We have two games left and we have challenged the team to put forth their best effort to finish strong.
