Arlanda Pre Game

We are looking for our first win. For the past 3 weeks we have been playing hard against some good teams, and coming up short. We face an Arlanda team this weekend that has fallen on some hard times, but I am sure they have enough pride to play well against us.
Although they haven't won yet, they have produced some nice plays both on offense and defense. We must be ready to compete, because we have no easy games on our schedule. On paper it looks like we match up well with Arlanda, and probably have a few more athletes than they do.
The final score is really the only thing that matters, but we have been getting better each week. It would be a great moral boost to get a win this weekend. We should be pretty healthy and we should finally start to see how things are shaping up.
Arlanda Postgame

We got the monkey off of our back, and got the first win of the season. I have been on both sides of 60-0 games, and it is obviously better to win them. Arlanda is young and they have hope for the future if they can keep working.
Our defense played well again, and we didn't suffer any serious injuries on either side of the ball. I see progress being made each week, and players are starting to understand their role and how they fit into the system.
I was especially pleased with the production of our offense. It was far from a perfect performance, but I think our best efforts are ahead of us. It was fun to have so many different people produce plays for us. Several different players scored and we did a nice job of distributing the ball.
