Pregame Report – Week #2. Kristianstad

The Bulls take on Kristiansand, a newcomer to the Superseries. They are a confident team and will provide us with a good challenge. They were beat by Tyreso last weekend but showed they have good enough talent to play in the league. They feature an attacking defense and spread offense with the ability to pass and run the ball equally well. We will need to take advantage of big play opportunities offensively. We had a large number of + 25 yard plays at Orebro and we will try to keep that trend going. Our defense will need to play smart, disciplined football. Most of our break-downs last weekend were caused by mis-alignments and blown assignments. We were able to put good pressure on the quarterback last week and force some quick throws and sacks, this will be a key for us again Saturday.

Week 2 Post Game

It was a tough pill to swallow, but we lost our second straight game on Saturday. No Excuses - Kristianstad beat us fair and square and we have to dust ourselves off and get ready for a tough opponent next week in Tyreso.
The Predators proved to be a good team that played just a little better than us yesterday. Our offense was largely inefficient for most of the game. We have got to get better play from our receivers, still having assignment errors is not acceptable. We are dropping too many balls and we must put more emphasis on blocking.
Our defense looks very good. I was especially happy with the performance of our front six. After reviewing film, we still need a better understanding of pass defense from our back 5 defenders.
The season is in full-swing. Every week is another opportunity to learn and compete. We had some mistakes last weekend that were the result of overly aggressive play and a loss of self-control. Coaches & players can always do better and always find ways to improve, we will keep plugging away and get ready to put this loss behind us.
