Norrköping 2024 Trip: key places and links etc 

Every month we award POTM there are a number of factors taken into account and that is the same this month, it's not just about what happens on the pitch.

So if you've been nominated, congratulations, you've contributed positively both in a footballing sense as well as part of the SCBC community.

2022 was the year which saw SCBC win our first league title, taking Korpen Division 3 in fairly comfortable fashion - with 12 out of 15 matches won (really this should have been at least 14 but for a last minute penalty and a ridiculous last game of the season). Here's a few numbers which tell the story of our title win.

Apart from a couple of other players who we're still waiting to hear back from this will be the group of players who will play for SCBC in the 2022 season. The main very clear goal is to win our Division in Korpen at the third attempt - best of luck folks!

On a day of many firsts we recorded our match against Gott Snack BK with the new VEO camera which our sponsors Beer n’Play kindly bought for us this season.

The game will be shown in full at Beer n’Play on Sunday when we announce our July/August Player of the Month. 

A list of firsts:

- SCBC’s first eleven-a-side match in our brand spanking new kit.

- Oli Crossley’s first goal for SCBC in an eleven-a-side match.

- Captain and goalkeeper Patch Campbell made his first outfield appearance (as did his fellow goalie Kourosh Madani).

- Our first match after Craig O’Roberts became a married man (congratulations to you sir).

- Luke Shuttleworth made his first appearance for SCBC.

- Samir ‘Nasri’ Hilmy made his first appearance for SCBC.

- First match with two Patrik/Patricks playing outfield.
