Player of the Month for August goes to a man who has been playing with SCBC since the first season the club existed, he's one of the most consistent performers and top appearance makers in club history - he's also a bloody nice guy (but don't make him angry, you wouldn't like him when he's angry).

2020's Player of the Year and August 2022 Player of the Month is Dennis Ingel.

July 2022

Perhaps a first for SCBC in that July's Player of the Month goes to a man who hasn't actually played a game for the team yet (though by the end of the year he'll have been involved in plenty).

James Johnson is a relatively new recruit to the squad but has been a familiar face in the Meetup events since the start of the season. James was one of a few who really helped out with the coordination and running of events throughout the summer period and given that there was only 1 official SCBC match during July, it feels fitting that he should be POTM this time round - the club began as a Meetup group and it's still an integral part of the organisation. June 2022

Player of the Month for June went to a man who has been in contention for the prize every month this season, Luke Shuttleworth.

3 goals from 3 matches in June (involved in both 11/7-a-side) plus a teammate who is guaranteed to always give 100%, Luke is both a squad and fans' favourite. Surely in the running for Player of the Year. Congratulations mate!

May 2022

This month's award could only really go to one person, who was instrumental in the team's great run of form during May - providing assists, goals and all round fabulous performances - that man was Ahmed Hussein. Congratulations mate!

April 2022

Will Dooley won Player of the Month for April 2022. A long-standing key member of the squad this is probably a very overdue first win... unlikely to be his last. Congratulations Will.

Player of the Year 2021

The club's top scorer across all competitions for the season (and also our rivals' top scorer from the season before, good signing huh?) was Yurii Rybin and this was part of what led to him being Player of the Year for 2021.

One of our most consistent players on the field and nicest guys off the field, Yurii is a class example to follow for everyone in 2022 when we aim to win the league. Hopefully he can keep banging in the goals for many a season to come.
