Traditional Gothia End of Season Turnering

The Gothia "Family" across 7 teams & Beginners group

Already for the 5th time did we organize our traditional End of Season tournament mixed across all 4 Men's, 3 Women's and 1 adults Beginners group. We gathered Saturday April 25th in a new setup this year with a light lunch as kick-off for an entire fun afternoon of volleyball. Right after some food from the lunch buffet and potluck (thanks all for sharing), we started with some team meetings for reflections of the past 25/26 season that was full of great memories.

The sportive part started with a western-style warm up presented by our Dam A team before we mixed up in different teams for mingle, volleyball and fun. With 66 participants from across all Gothia teams, we had a great attendance. We played in the same setup as before mixing players by draw into 12 different teams (named of Swedish summer topics).

During a little break, we honored all our coaches of the season with small gifts and raffled some presents for our helpers during the season. We live of the help of our members and want to thank everyone who supported during the season and hope to see the same engagement in the next season.

Winner for this year was team HÄNGMATTA followed by team SEMESTER and team SOLGLASÖGON on third. Thanks everyone for the active participation, help in setup and for a great season together.

We go into the summer break and will be back towards end of August with updates of starting season 2026/27.
