In the first game against Ravens, it was a closely contested battle, with a final score of 3-2 in their favor (17/25, 25/22, 22/25, 30/28, 15/10).

We started with a set win and kept up the intensity throughout, fighting hard in every set. In the second game, we faced Gråå, a team with experience in a higher division. Despite the challenge, we stayed calm and gave our best effort.

Gråå took the win with 3-0, but we gave them a good challenge and felt proud of the game we delivered, ready to keep training and improving!

Gothia B ladies after their perfect match day

Gothia B ladies start with an amazing double win into the season at home. Both matches, against Majorna and Kungälv B, were won 3-0 in last Sunday's first match day. Congrats to the team, the coaches and thanks for the support from our Women's A team from the side.

Sunday 20/03, Gothia B ladies went to Lindesberg to play two matches - against Lindesberg C and VK Block. First match, we dominated with solid serves and good attacks especially by player of the match Caroline. We secured the win clearly 3:0 (25:17, 25:12, 25:14). In the second match against VK Block, we started strong but had a little low in the second set with too many small errors on our side and a more focused play of our opponent. We pulled it back together and managed a clear victory thanks to strong serves and attacks by player of the match Matilda. End results was 3:1 (25:15, 22:25, 25:14, 25:12). Our next and last match day is Sunday 3rd of April in Kungälv against our biggest competitor.

Gothia B ladies after winning both matches

Last Saturday Gothia B Ladies played two matches in Örebro. First match was won 3:1 against a strong opponent from Vingåker. Thanks to good serves and middle spikes by player of the match Maria, we managed to pull ahead and win. The second match against Örebro started with a bit of a low on energy losing a set right away. We pulled in together and thanks to good serves and nice attacks on the right by player of the match Linnea, we secured another win 3:1 that day.

Gothia B ladies played Karlstad B and VK Block last weekend in a home game here in Göteborg. We started concentrated and in the first match against Karlstad B that got some strong new players in their ranks. Winning the first set, we struggled with their strong serves and lost the next two. Coming back thanks to strong jump serves by our player of the match Matilda and solid consistent sets by player of the match and setter Hannah. We managed to win 3:2 (25:22,  20:25, 19:25, 26:24, 15:13) against a tough opponent. The other game against VK Block was dominated by strong serves and good attacks from both sides by Eva on the left and Linnea on the right (both players of the match) secured us a clear victory of 3:0 (25:14, 25:11, 25:17).
