Gothia traveled for a late evening showdown against league leaders Habo Wolley B, the only team still unbeaten this season. But that didn’t intimidate the Gothia squad one bit. With nothing to lose and everything to prove, the mindset was simple: go all in.

And that’s exactly what they did.

From the very first whistle, Gothia took control. Aggressive serving, sharp attacking, and rock-solid defense stunned the home side as Gothia raced to an early 8–2 lead. Habo Wolley B struggled to find rhythm while Gothia dictated the tempo completely. The opening set was pure dominance — 15–25 to Gothia.

The second set showed why Habo Wolley B sit at the top of the table. They responded with strong blocking and tough serving, jumping out to a 6–2 lead. Gothia struggled for a moment with reception and finishing plays, but fought back to keep things competitive. Still, Habo Wolley B took the set 25–19.

The third set turned into a true nail-biter. Tactical adjustments and lineup changes sparked an intense back-and-forth battle with high-level volleyball on both sides. Habo led early, Gothia responded, and the teams traded momentum point by point. In the crucial moments, Gothia kept their composure. Big blocks and clutch attacking sealed the set 23–25.

The fourth set was played at a fierce pace from both teams, but Gothia’s hunger was undeniable. Gothia controlled the key rallies and closed the set 19–25, securing a massive 3–1 victory.

This was Gothia’s strongest performance of the season — ending Habo Wolley B’s perfect winning streak and handing the league leaders their first loss of the year.
