Fall & Winter Activities for ACIF XC-Skiing Section
The XC-skiing season is approaching! ❄️🎿
This autumn and winter, ACIF offers several activities to help members prepare for the ski season, improve technique, and enjoy skiing together. Whether you are completely new to cross-country skiing or preparing for races and ski trips, we hope you'll join us.
September 2026 | SkiErg (stakmaskin) Technique Session
Learn efficient double-poling technique and ski-specific strength with Catarina Henriksson, Official Vasalopp Coach.
When: 24 September | 18:00–19:00

September 2026 | Ski Walking
A lunch-time ski walking session at Hammarbybacken, arranged together with Catarina Henriksson to build strength and endurance before winter.

January 2027 | Orsa Grönklitt Ski Weekend
Our annual highlight of the season! Join us in Orsa Grönklitt and Vasaloppshuset for a weekend of skiing, social activities, and great company.

Winter Ski Lessons
Throughout the winter, we will offer technique sessions with for both beginners and experienced skiers, including classic and skate skiing. Dates and registration details will be published separately.
Vasaloppet Accommodation in Sälen
Participating in Vasaloppet, Öppet Spår or Tjejvasan? ACIF also aims to arrange shared accommodation in Sälen during Vasalopp week, giving members an opportunity to stay together close to the races and enjoy the Vasalopp atmosphere.

ACIF sponsors races
Races are sponsored by ACIF with 50% up to 700kr when you compete for ACIF, Atlas Copco or Epiroc.
Please send following to activity responsible
- Payment receipt for the race
- Result that shows that you have competed for ACIF, Atlas Copco or Epiroc and that you have completed the race
- Info about bank, clearing number and bank account number for reimbursement
