The 'Fritidskort' and the VCC youth

Hello, parents of the VCC youth!

The VCC treasury has started sending out the annual invoices for membership and training fees. We're also excited to share that VCC is now part of the fritidskort scheme. This means parents can easily use the scheme to cover their children's sports-related fees. When paying, you'll see fritidskort as an option alongside other convenient methods such as Swish, Bankgiro, Card, and more.

Here are the details -

If you are the parent or guardian of a child aged 7–16,

you can use Fritidskortet to pay for your child’s leisure activities. You must make the payment using the digital service. Your child cannot make the payment themselves.Fritidskortet can be used with registered sports clubs

In order to pay with Fritidskortet, the association offering the activity must be registered with Fritidskortet.

You must register your child for the activity ( membership and training)

You register your child for the leisure activity directly with the sports club, outdoor recreation organisation, arts school or other organisation offering activities for children and young people.

Each child will get a fixed amount every year

Children aged 7–16 is entitled to a fixed annual amount that you can use to pay for leisure activities for your child. The basic annual amount is SEK 550. Households that received housing allowance last year are entitled to SEK 2,500 per child.It is not possible to save or carry over unused funds to the next year.

What activities can you pay for with Fritidskortet?

You can pay for regular leisure activities, such as

fees for sports clubs, outdoor recreation organisations or arts schools (including membership fees, participation fees or training fees)
renting equipment or aids to take part in leisure activities.
