Here is the end-of-year update to all youth players and their parents:   

Winter trainings 
Sundays at Frölunda Kulturhus from 11th January to 22nd March.  U8 12.00-13.00 - (Rugby Hero siblings also welcome)   

U10 + U12 13.00-14.00   

U14 - gym sessions on Wednesdays at 18.00 from 14th Jan at Välen in our gym. 

F15/ F18 - Tuesday training 17.00-18.45 at Välen astro turf.  

P16/P18 -  Tuesday training 17.00-18.45 at Välen astro turf.  

Players from 15 years upwards are welcome to Saturday Touch at Heden 10.30. 

Rugby Heroes - resting until we go on the grass.   

Changing age group - in January each coach checks which child is to change the year group, contacts the parents, and talks to the child. Reach out to the coaches in case you have questions.  The calendar year the child turns 9 they go up to U10, the year they turn 11, they go up to U12, etc.   

Kickoff on 31st January - at GRF we work hard to continuously improve the operations and processes. As a typical förening in Sweden, our club exists and operates only thanks to the fantastic coaches, volunteers, parents and players who organize the trainings, trips, find sponsors, educate themselevs and others, and just make the wheels turn.  If you feel you can contribute even a little bit, join us in the club on 31st January for a day filled with planning, discussions and fun. Detailed agenda will follow.  Please comment here or/ and contact the coaches if you are interested. We always need more hands on board!   

Parent meeting - in March/ April 2026 you will be invited to a parent meeting.   With that we wish you a fantastic New year!  From our GRF coaches and the Board
