EGFs Värdegrund

Under 2025 har fäktare, tränare och styrelse genomfört att antal workshops för att ta fram föreningens värdegrund. Avstamp för arbetet togs i Riksidrottsförbundets material Skapa trygga och inkluderande idrottsmiljöer

På sommaravslutningen i juni fick alla som var där rösta på vilket ledord som bäst beskriver verksamheten och det ledde fram till de fyra ledorden som utgör grunden för vår värdegrund;

• Gemenskap
• Respekt
• Ambition
• Trygghet

Under sommaren och hösten fortsatte arbetet med att beskriva vad ledorden betyder för oss och på julavslutningen i december kunde styrelsen lansera värdegrunden.

– Jag är otroligt stolt över det arbete som bedrivits och det engagemang som våra aktiva visat i att ta fram En Garde Fäktförenings värdegrund, säger EGF:s ordförande Anna Toll. 
Hon fortsätter:
– För oss som förening är de aktivas inflytande en grundförutsättning. Vi i styrelsen ser fram emot att stärka det ytterligare under 2026, då vi bland annat planerar att starta ett fäktarråd. Det arbetet kommer ske i nära samarbete med RF-SISU

In 2025, fencers, coaches and the board have conducted a number of workshops to develop the club’s values. The starting point for the work was taken in the Swedish Sports Confederation's material Create safe and inclusive sports environments

At the summer end in June, everyone who was there got to vote on which key word best describes the club and it led to the four key words that form the basis of our values;

• Community
• Respect
• Ambition
• Security

During the summer and autumn, the work continued to describe what the key words mean to us and at the Christmas end in December, the board was able to launch the core values.

"I am incredibly proud of the work that has been carried out and the commitment that our fencers have shown in developing the values of the En Garde Fencing Association," says EGF's chair Anna Toll. She continues: "For us as an association, the influence of the femcers is a basic prerequisite. We on the board look forward to strengthening it further in 2026, when we plan to start a fencing council, among other things. This work will be done in close collaboration with RF-SISU
