Csilla, ny i Moradressen!

Dags att presentera ett till nyförvärv. Hon glad tjej som heter Csilla Gárdonyi. Hon hade en fantastisk period som junior med ett junior VM guld på hemmaplan och flera andra fina resultat. Csilla fightades då tex med de svenska tjejerna Hanna Lundberg och Tilda Östberg.

Under hennes första år som senior har hon haft lite skadeproblem och prioriterat skolan lite extra. Nu hoppas vi att hon kan få rätsida på skadorna och att Csilla kan hitta en bra balans i träningen så att hon kan vara med igen utan att ha ont.

Csilla kommer liksom Zsolt Lenkei från Budapest där hon studerat ”Produkt design” med examen om bara en månad! Hon är redan bra kompis med Florian och ser det som en stor ära att få representera IFK Mora OK.

In which orienteering enviroment have you grew up?

 "My whole family did orienteering up to my grandpa, so I was always taken to the competitions. I started to run courses at age 8 and it became a love. My parent's club didn't have trainings, so I started to run for MOM Orienteering, which is my hungarian club since then."

What does orienteering mean for you nowadays?

"I try to fully enjoy orienteering, from training to competitions. For me, orienteering means challenge, the most difficult terrains are my favorites, where I have to concentrate all the time. It's also something I can always improve on, and in the meantime explore the world with my friends by my side."

Which goals you have for upcomming seasons?

“I hope I can manage an injury-free winter period and stay in competition with Hungary's top athletes for the season. After years of pushing myself to the limits physically and ended up injured, I would like to concentrate more on improving my orienteering skills. It would be nice to have the opportunity to run on high-quality terrains and practise conscious navigation."

When we can meet you in Mora?

"I can't tell the exact date yet, but I would be happy to spend some training weeks in Mora:)"
