Today we talked about our optional practice time on fridays at 16:30 and we came up with other day.
We will have that extra time on Thursday 19:15 - 20:45 Gothia 1 instead of Friday 16:30.
The change happened because of a new team that Högsbo Basket wants to form for young players and that time suits them well.

The Thursday practice time is at time it works for most players, so as before - I will talk to the players on the best ways to use this practice. Sometimes we will use it as shooting practice, sometimes open court but sometimes we can use it as a team practice for our HU16 team (P10) or maybe even share it with some other teams as practice or game time.

There will be no practice on upcoming Monday (Jan 19) because of Div 2 game that is being played.

Tomorrow (Friday, Jan 16) we got the opprotunity to practice at 17:45 instead of 16:30 so I took it.

I'm thinking that most of you would make it easier to the practice at later time.

This applies only for this friday, next week friday practice will be at the rwgular time 16:30.

Dear players and parents,

For the second part of this basketball season we have made few changes and I would like to inform you about them.

First change is that in Westra spring series we will now play HU17A and HU16B. We decided to go down from HU16A series as it was becoming increasingly difficult to find the right balance for all the players that they can feel they are on the right level. Often we had to play some players for both series on the same weekend either for reasons that we didn't have enough players or because we needed more experienced players for some games.

Second change is that we are now getting additional practice day on Monday 19:15 in Gothia 3. This practice will help us as many players are not able to make it on time to the Friday practice that is starting at 16:30 because of school finishing late.

So now we have 4 practice days but my idea is to make the Friday practice a optional - bonus practice that will serve as practice to get some shoots before the weekend games, work on skills and any other purpose we might need. I will talk to players in the upcoming week and we will decide together how to best use the Friday practice time.
