Ahead of Strömsund away

Strömsund
Tomorrow, Wednesday the 10th of August, we travel to the beautiful kommun of Strömsund for a tough away match vs IFK Strömsund who currently sit at 9th position in the league.
Strömsund is a lovely part of Jämtland, one of the finest and the journey there is a really nice drive through the lovely Jämtland county.
But let´s not get into that to much, we play a tough game versus Strömsund. Strömsund is a team we have faced many times throughout the years and every game has been a really difficult match - we expect nothing less this time.
Last time we played Strömsund was in the spring and we finally won the match 3-1. It was a tricky match where Strömsund at first took the lead, but through late goals 2nd half we could triumph with the win.
We aim to continue build on the positivity and to keep working hard together to trying complete a good performance tomorrow. Last week was a little bit tricky due to Covid cases in and around the squad, but we managed it well. Ahead of the match tomorrow, it looks as things have settled down a little bit.
We also hope we can bring fans with our bus, which means the environment and atmosphere will be good. All in all, we are really looking forward for a tough evening in a really nice place!
We will do our best and we hope it will be enough for three points, but in football you never know when there is a good opponent you play against.

Erik Lindström selected man of match for Cosmos
Tonights match versus IFK Strömsund ended up in 3-0 loss, after being 3-0 down in first half and a goalless second half. A huge congratulations to IFK Strömsund for a well played match.
For Cosmos it was a massive win, a win in new experiences which in the long term will make us stronger. That is why we can conclude a lost match as a win.
We travelled to the game in a bus joint with friends, fans, players, staff and family. A really positive and nice experience, but the lost match also gave us a new experience of playing and losing in front of fans. It gives all of us plenty of experiences to learn from but right now we are hurting and suffering. But as in life, we will learn from this and come back stronger together.
Once again a big thank you to Strömsund, a nice place and a really nice club and congratulations.
In the future, we are hopeful of looking back at this match knowing we learned so much which in the long term made us, as a club, better.
