Tactics
Beforehand, a very tough match versus Tandsbyn away. Tandsbyn is a strong village team full of physicality and plenty of players looking to compete.
The conditions before the game was tough, a few covid cases and Jan Hansson, our doctor, had to keep tabs on the players day by day. That is life and you have to cope with it - and we did.
We put together a very positive squad, we have had great positive sessions since the restart and we were full of excitement to see if it would be strong enough to get us points.
Tandsbyn opened the game tough and hard, and as we expected it was a tough battle. They also scored both 1 and 2 goals before we got into the game and when we went to half time the score was 2-1 to Tandsbyn.
Second half we came out giving it all, plenty of players contributing and we really were strong together. Two consecutive goals gave us the lead and we also managed to keep it until the final whistle. What a joy and what a fantastic performance from each and every one of the players.
So satisfying seeing players that previously have not had so many minutes on the pitch, stepping into senior football showin everyone their love for the game, their attitude and their fighting spirit. We are taking step by step all the time. We have week by week focused on the performances and our attitude, and it is so pleasing when we also get the results our way.
