Sunday 15 september 2019 - 5th edition.
Not only delivering a crazy fast new world record (58:01 - Geoffrey Kamworor) and fast race from Swedish elites, there were also two representants from Majornas IK in the street of Copenhagen!!!
- Johannes Bogren - completed the race in fast 1:13:49 (lovely 14th place in age group and 196 male runners).
- Karima Makrof - completed the race in slow 1:33:59 (38th place in age group and 265 female runners).
Short from K's race: "Training race to test the form and have a baseline for starting marathon training 2020. Opened on the feel for 3km @4:06 (which was the aimed race pace for halfmarathon), adjusted to 4:10 until the 5km-mark. Took a slow kilometer to get the sub90-group to catch up. Hang along with them for a few km and dropped them around halfway-mark. A bit sensitive spot on the left shin where the stress fracture was last year, so kept a steady pace to the end in order to get a good Sunday long run around 93-94minutes. All fine and not tired at the end. Bruise on the shin to be checked next week. All-in-all, a first long run since the Ironman end of July. So quite ok for testing the legs. New goals under definition...".
