This trip is to Orsa Grönklitt in Dalarna from Thursday march 19th to Sunday March 22nd. Open to ESIK members and family and friends. The cost of the trip is 850 per ESIK member (employee or Ericsson pensioner) and 1150 per person who is non-ESIK.
Let's try some spring snow, fast tracks and sunshine when the worst cold has passed. This trip takes us up to the cabins that have their own sauna, and the standard is better. All are closely connected to the trails and you can almost ski from the door. We have 30 beds.
NOTE: Please book as soon as possible so we can reduce the number of cabins we don't need. This is the first time we are trying a later trip.
If you are an ESIK member who wants a friend or family member to join the trip, send the link to the trip to them. They must register and pay themselves. Note that ESIK members have priority, but we normally can accommodate everyone if you book on time!
We will stay in cabins that are usually 3 or 4 rooms with 6 or 8 sharing. The cost for the trip covers a bed, cleaning and the snow guarantee (money is paid back if there is no snow). You can indicate if you want to share the cabin with named people when you register.
Travel to and from Orsa happens in private cars and we ask people to state if they are taking a car and if they have room to take others. You agree with the driver how the costs for the journey are divided, and that depends on how many there are on the car and the fuel (different prices). The times for leaving Stockholm/Kista and returning are agreed with the driver, but you can indicate if you want to travel early on Thursday, or in the afternoon. The drive to Orsa is usually around 5 hours with a stop .
The cabins are well equipped and there is usually agreement in the cabin about food and who should bring what. There will be an email group for each cabin and then you agree amongst yourselves.
There is no organized coaching on this trip.
NOTE: We try to make it easy to book for friends and family who are non-ESIK and for the organizers so we book one person at a time. There are two articles to choose from. We ask ESIK members bringing a friend or family member to enter their name or names. Make sure to set the article that does not apply to you to 0.
